SAP TM is now embedded in the 1709 release of S/4HANA, and ECC LE-TRA (Logistic execution – Transportation) will be obsolete by 2025. As a result, SAP recommends that customers using LE-TRA migrate to embedded TM in order to take advantage of the advanced TM functionalities. Embedded TM provides some IT and functional benefits w.r.t standalone SAP TM.
